COLD CHAIN DISCIPLINE
Temperature is won before the wheels turn.
A reefer unit can only hold what the loading lets it. That’s why every move starts before the cargo arrives: the box is pre-cooled to the agreed setpoint, the refrigeration unit and door seals are checked, and the trailer is clean and odour-free for foodstuffs.
At loading, door discipline keeps the cold in — doors open late, close early and stay shut between positions. Cargo is stacked for airflow, off the walls and clear of the ceiling and floor channels, because cold air has to circulate around the load, not fight through it. Chilled and frozen are never mixed in one compartment at one setpoint.
On the road the unit holds the setpoint through desert heat, and the checks and records you need — at loading, in transit and at delivery — are agreed per contract, so your receiving team gets the load in the condition it left. If the cargo also needs lifting or short-term storage either side of the move, the same group provides it.

Reefer transport is road haulage in a refrigerated trailer — an insulated box with its own refrigeration unit that holds a set temperature (the setpoint) in transit. It's how perishable and temperature-sensitive cargo travels without breaking the cold chain.
Both chilled and frozen modes are available, and the exact setpoint is agreed to your cargo per load — fresh produce, dairy and beverages typically ride chilled, while frozen food runs at deep-frozen setpoints. Tell us the cargo and the temperature it needs, and we confirm the box and setting.
By winning the temperature before departure: the box is pre-cooled to setpoint, the unit and seals are checked, loading follows door discipline, and cargo is stacked so cold air can circulate. The refrigeration unit then holds the setpoint on the road.

Whenever the cargo has a temperature it must not leave — perishables, frozen goods, and sensitive products. Dry palletized freight that only needs weather protection can ride curtain-sided (TL·04) instead; if you're unsure, send the cargo and we'll advise which body it needs.
