Reefer transport that holds the setpoint.

Al Tawfiq Group moves chilled and frozen cargo in refrigerated (reefer) trailers across Saudi Arabia, NEOM, the Red Sea and Tabuk. The box is pre-cooled before loading, the setpoint is agreed to your cargo, and cold-chain discipline — airflow, stacking and door control — is held from loading to delivery. Cross-border reefer transport to Egypt is available under one contract

3D isn't available in this browser. The insulated reefer box holds chilled or frozen setpoints for produce, foodstuffs and temperature-sensitive goods, pre-cooled before loading and monitored on the road. Details are in the panel and the table below.

Chilled foodstuffs

Dairy, beverages and fresh food held just above freezing.

CARGO·01

Fresh produce

Fruit and vegetables moved at setpoint with airflow kept clear.

CARGO·02

Chilled foodstuffs

Dairy, juice and prepared food held just above freezing.

CARGO·03

Frozen goods

Frozen food and ice cream held at deep-frozen setpoints door to door.

CARGO·04

FIG.04

COLD CHAIN DISCIPLINE

Temperature is won before the wheels turn.

A reefer unit can only hold what the loading lets it. That’s why every move starts before the cargo arrives: the box is pre-cooled to the agreed setpoint, the refrigeration unit and door seals are checked, and the trailer is clean and odour-free for foodstuffs.

At loading, door discipline keeps the cold in — doors open late, close early and stay shut between positions. Cargo is stacked for airflow, off the walls and clear of the ceiling and floor channels, because cold air has to circulate around the load, not fight through it. Chilled and frozen are never mixed in one compartment at one setpoint.

On the road the unit holds the setpoint through desert heat, and the checks and records you need — at loading, in transit and at delivery — are agreed per contract, so your receiving team gets the load in the condition it left. If the cargo also needs lifting or short-term storage either side of the move, the same group provides it.

Pre-cool to setpoint

Box brought to temperature before loading starts.

Unit & seal check

Refrigeration unit and door seals checked pre-trip.

Door discipline

Open late, close early — cold stays in the box.

Stacked for airflow

Load kept clear of walls, ceiling and floor channels.

One setpoint per box

Chilled and frozen never mixed at a single setpoint.

Checks & records

Loading, transit and delivery checks agreed per contract.

DECISION GUIDE

Flatbed, curtain-sided or lowbed?

Most general cargo goes on a flatbed. Here’s when a sibling trailer is the better call.

WHY IT MATTERS

In corridor heat, a reefer isn't a trailer choice — it's whether the cargo arrives as cargo or as a claim.

NEOM-approved · corridor-based · pre-cooled, held at setpoint, delivered cold.

QUERIES

Flatbed questions, answered.

Reefer transport is road haulage in a refrigerated trailer — an insulated box with its own refrigeration unit that holds a set temperature (the setpoint) in transit. It's how perishable and temperature-sensitive cargo travels without breaking the cold chain.

Both chilled and frozen modes are available, and the exact setpoint is agreed to your cargo per load — fresh produce, dairy and beverages typically ride chilled, while frozen food runs at deep-frozen setpoints. Tell us the cargo and the temperature it needs, and we confirm the box and setting.

By winning the temperature before departure: the box is pre-cooled to setpoint, the unit and seals are checked, loading follows door discipline, and cargo is stacked so cold air can circulate. The refrigeration unit then holds the setpoint on the road.

Checks and record-keeping at loading, in transit and at delivery are agreed per contract to match what your receiving team or client requires. Tell us what documentation you need and we'll confirm it in the quotation.

Yes. Recurring chilled and frozen supply runs — for camps, caterers and retailers across NEOM, the Red Sea and Tabuk — can be set up as a contract with agreed days and windows, alongside one-off moves.

Across Saudi Arabia with a base in the Tabuk–NEOM–Red Sea corridor, and yes — cross-border reefer transport to Egypt is available, coordinated under one contract with the temperature held through the crossing.

Whenever the cargo has a temperature it must not leave — perishables, frozen goods, and sensitive products. Dry palletized freight that only needs weather protection can ride curtain-sided (TL·04) instead; if you're unsure, send the cargo and we'll advise which body it needs.

The cargo, the temperature mode it needs (chilled or frozen), the quantity or pallet count, the pickup and destination, the date, and whether it's one-off or recurring. The transport team replies with the box, setpoint and a price.
